Mono Capital reveals vision for Frodsham residential scheme

Property developer Mono Capital is to bring forward a new residential scheme in Frodsham following its acquisition of a circa 6,000 sq. ft. former bank.

Designed by award winning architecture practice, Project3, the redevelopment of the landmark property, which was built in 1850, will create seven luxury apartments while retaining ground floor retail space in the heart of Frodsham.

The project will see the demolition of existing extensions, replaced with beautifully finished apartments, including three duplex penthouses, each with private outdoor space. Dedicated parking will also be available for residents to the rear of the property.

Careful consideration has been taken to protect the building’s period features, whilst being sympathetic to its neighbours and the heritage assets within the leafy market town.

James Connolly, Managing Director of Mono Capital, said: “After a long journey, and careful consideration around the heritage of this beautiful building and how best to bring it back to life, we are excited to be bringing this new scheme forward. It will create seven new homes and, crucially, will retain the retail space for Frodsham’s thriving high street.

“Mono Capital benefits from a strong track record in the delivery of redevelopment projects like this, including the former Stags Head in Alderley Edge, now a bustling business centre. We look forward to getting started in the coming months, bringing our vision to life and returning the building to its former glory as an asset to Frodsham.”

Mono Capital was founded in 2019 by James Connolly; a visionary property development company specialising in the revitalisation of underused properties. Its forward-thinking initiatives and successful track record have seen the developer establish itself as a dynamic player in the property development sector. It remains acquisitive as it builds its development pipeline, seeking new opportunities across the North West and London.

Planning was handled by Altrincham-based built environment consultancy, Enabl.

UKREiiF 2024 – worthwhile investment or expensive talking shop?

As an Independent PR and marketing consultant, it's important that time out of the office for any networking and learning is a good investment - and, let's face it, UKREiiF is pretty costly to attend. But given the growth of the event in recent years, and positive feedback from clients and contacts, I bit the bullet and decided to join what felt like the entirety of the UK's real estate industry and head to Leeds.
